Prof. Siddhartha Banerjee
Professor Siddhartha Banerjee is an associate professor in the School of Operations Research and Information Engineering (ORIE) at Cornell, as well as a field member in Departments of Computer Science, ECE, and the Center for Applied Mathematics. Professor Siddhartha Banerjee works on topics at the intersection of data-driven decision-making and stochastic control, economics and computation, and large-scale network algorithms. Some of my current research interests include: new data-driven approaches for online decision-making, non-monetary mechanisms and information design, equity and fairness in online decision-making, stochastic coupling techniques in control.

Prof. Xiuli Chao
Xiuli Chao’s research interests include queueing, scheduling, financial engineering, inventory control, and supply chain management. He has also held regular or visiting positions at the University of California at Irvine, Columbia University, North Carolina State University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and National University of Singapore.

Prof. Xuefeng Gao
Xuefeng Gao received his B.S. in Mathematics from Peking University, China in 2008, and his Ph.D. in Operations Research from Georgia Institute of Technology, USA in 2013. His research interests include Stochastic Modelling, Financial Engineering, Operations Research and Reinforcement Learning. His work has been selected as Finalist in the 2011 INFORMS Junior Faculty Interest Group (JFIG) paper competition. During summer 2011 and 2012, he worked as a research intern in the Business Analytics and Mathematical Sciences Department of the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center in New York.

Prof. L. Jeff Hong
Jeff Hong is Professor in Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Minnesota. Prior to joining the University, he held academic positions at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (2004-2014), City University of Hong Kong (2014-2018) and Fudan University (2018-2024). His research interests include stochastic simulation, stochastic optimization, statistical machine learning, and financial risk management. Prof. Hong is currently an associate editor of Management Science and ACM Transactions on Modeling and Computer Simulation. He was the Simulation Area Editor of Operations Research (2018-2023) and President of INFORMS Simulation Society (2020-2022).
