【内容摘要】
In this talk I will discuss some of my recent work on integrated supply chain design models, in which results and insights from inventory theory are incorporated into location models. The resulting models are nonlinear integer programming models, for which efficient solution algorithms are proposed. Some important extensions of the models, such as the design of robust and reliable supply chains, will also be discussed. Zuo-Jun (Max) Shen joined the Industrial Engineering and Operations Research department at University of California at Berkeley in 2004, before that, he taught at the Industrial and Systems Engineering department at the University of Florida for 4 years, after he received his Ph.D. from Northwestern University.
【主讲人简介】Max has been active in the following research areas: integrated supply chain design and management models, market mechanism design, and applied optimization. His research results have been published in leading journals, such as Operations Research, Management Science, Naval Research Logistics, and Transportation Science, among others. He is serving on the editorial board for Naval Research Logistics. He has also held several research grants from agencies such as the National Science Foundation and the Department of Defense. |
