Some fundamental issues of the strategic approaches and perceptions of technological innovation will be discussed from the viewpoint of both an academic and practitioner. A few uses of decision analysis and its limitations will be discussed. Examples from successful and non-successful technological innovations will be used to illustrate key points. |
