【主讲人简介】Howard Kunreuther 教授是美国宾州大学沃顿商学院决策科学与公共政策学教授，同时任沃顿商学院风险管理与决策程序研究中心主任。他长期以来的主要研究兴趣是社会如何对由于技术和自然灾害引起的小概率-高损失事件进行管理，发表了大量相关论著。Kunreuther 教授目前是国家放射性废物研究理事会成员，国家自然灾害研究理事会成员。Kunreuther 教授是美国杰出的社会风险分析方面的学者，获得过2001年社会杰出贡献奖。1997年，与Paul Freeman合作出版了《Managing Environmental Risk through Insurance》；1998年与Richard Roth, Sr.合作编撰了《Paying the Price: The Status of Role of Insurance Against Natural Disasters in the United States》；2001年与Steve Hoch合作编撰了《Wharton on Making Decisions (2001)》。他还由于发表了众多关于保险方面的论著而获得了Elizur Wright奖。 |
